The Donald Hangs Fake TIME Covers In His Golf Clubs
A Time Magazine with Trump on the cover hangs in his golf clubs. It’s fake. https://t.co/GbabQP5hXQ pic.twitter.com/EFTEcyasRE

And you better not say you’re surprised by this. Look, we get it – especially by now. The Donald loves himself. Good for him, I love myself too. We all need to keep our spirits and confidence high day in and day out.
Do I love myself so much to go as far as to make a bootleg TIME cover to hang in my non-existent golf clubs around the country? If I had the capabilities, why not? A little confidence and narcissism never hurt anybody. No – but in all seriousness I wouldn’t, even if I did have a bunch of golf clubs. At least not in the effort that Donald was aiming for.
Knowing my personality, I would have actually remade the TIME cover as a joke. Like put a bunch of inside/dad jokes and beer references all over it. Cause that’s just me. Completely satirical.
But the thing that makes this more of a “Okay, Donald, why’d you have to go and do that?” type scenario is that he legitimately wanted to pass this off to people as a real cover from the magazine. Putting headlines like ‘The “Apprentice” is a television smash’ and placing article titles in the wrong places on the cover. Literal “fake news,” you can’t help but laugh. Stay woke people.
Hey, I’m all for branding and marketing, which is what he’s doing. But come on Donald, we have to at least keep it… I don’t know, honest? Hold this ‘L’ Don.
Trump supporter or not, there really is no way you can defend this; other than saying that it was in past. But the fact still remains that those covers were going to hang there if he never got caught.
It is what it is: The Donald being egotistical. I won’t lie though, I would have believed this one way more than the TIME cover, in my opinion.
Here he is on the cover of ESPN Magazine! GOAT! pic.twitter.com/0Ovof4CcQc
