What you are about to see might be the most absurd and hilarious dating interaction of 2017. I can say this after you read it.
Hahahaha one day I'm going to meet this girl and it's going to be epic. Look at the dates of our tinder texts. pic.twitter.com/DASQK4c5cX

Okay – first things first, I want to give an endless amount of praise to both parties for having the diligence to play off of one another and realize the running joke at hand. I don’t think many people understand the diligence and patience these two managed to execute on this conversation chain; more specifically the guy, since he initiated it.
Michelle responds almost a month later after this guy’s initial outreach (which at that point, what were you thinking Michelle?). Her response? “Hey, sorry my phone died…” Her phone died for a month. Classic!
Immediately he catches on, and then it’s let the games begin. I have to admit, I’m one of those guys who would have caved after three or four days and hit her with a double text if I was that interested. I don’t know, that’s just my nature. That three-day rule can apply to just about anything: texting, follow-ups to sales cold calls, applying for jobs, calling your bank and wondering how you over-drafted your account in one night (Okay – maybe you don’t wait too long on that).
Waiting months for response times; that takes diligence, people. He wins this whole thing after waiting almost a year to respond to one message if you ask me. But time and time again, the good ole internet takes the crown over everything.

Oh shit… I’m going with the Bahamas or the Dominican Republic for sure!
After a long debate over your unbelievably generous offer, our dream first-date would be in Hawaii. Meet you in Maui?? @mch_rnd

Eh, close enough.
Aloha! We're sending you to Maui but you can't take two years to pack your bags! 🏖️

After all of this, I guess the only thing I can say is: keep swiping my friends.
