Every hit song has its foundation. Those foundations are built by the talented artists that create them. There is a plethora of talent in this world, I’m convinced of that. The unique part is discovering it and turning it into something marketable.
It takes certain individuals to seek out the special abilities within other people. Sometimes it’s very clear what a person’s God-given gifts are. But I think the keyword here that tends to be overlooked is discover.

Can you tell us more about One One 7 and what made you originally want to go in the music industry?
One One 7 is a multi-national entertainment corporation that works with many of the most successful song writers, music producers, and recording artists of this generation. For me it started when I was a young kid, I went from listening to my parents record collection to eventually forming my own bands and writing songs.
In high school I started making and selling my own records, from then on I never stopped pursuing working in the industry. These days I just have the opportunity to do it on a grander scale.

The ultimate goal for the business is to be apart of making music that can help change or save lives and in regards to the general public the goal is always to make music that moves popular culture.
Explain how you find your talent and how you develop them into better artists?
We are very blessed in the fact that we have talent sent to us from major record companies and that talent comes from all over the world. The main focus with any artist is hit songs, if you don’t have the right song you don’t have anything in this business.
What’s been your most exciting moment working for your own business?
The most exciting moments are always the first things; hearing a song on radio, an artist going on their first tour, helping an artist get a record deal, or being a part of a number 1 are moments that are the most exciting.
What is your advice for an entrepreneur looking to pursue their own ideas?
Pray, ask God for wisdom and clarity, seek wise council, believe in yourself, ask a lot of questions, don’t be afraid to make a mistake, and try to surround yourself with people that are smarter than you are.
