This past May, Malaysian artist Kuizz debuted his single “Uncool,” which ended up gaining over 100k plays on Spotify. Not only that, but it was even featured on Buzzfeed’s “June Playlist” alongside artist Selena Gomez and Lana Del Rey.
Now he has returned with a brand new single titled “Silences.” The track features Singapore native Haneri, as both her and Kuizz perform in an emotional duet. These two have been grinding. Just last year, Kuizz reached over 300k plays on Spotify after the release of his debut EP. For Haneri, she helped co-write the #1 K-Pop song “Wave” by R3hab X f(AMBER+LUNA).
In regards to the single, both artist add their own level of character and personality to the song, with each of them providing unique and soulful vocals. Kuizz adds, “Silences is about a relationship drifting apart caused by miscommunication and unspoken words.” Also worth mentioning, Kuizz even designed the cover art for the track as well.
