Today’s artists in music are evolving into more than just being single faceted. It’s not enough to do one singular thing in the industry any more. We’re starting to see more producers and DJs break into the singing, writing and performing barrier, and vice versa.
His newest single “Chances” features himself on vocals, along with production credit to match. The single is an emotional track that deals with the Millennial anxiety of taking opportunities for granted.
““Chances” [also] deals with the millennial anxiety of fucking up the opportunities you earn, yet being afraid to fuck up the ones you don’t – a constant state of panic and inadequacy. I think a lot of rising musicians feel this way, too.”
2017 was UNBLOOM’s first year doing music full-time. During that time, he was tending to his father who had been battling a life-threatening cellulitis infection. Having gone through that experience, he realized that life is short and second chances are never guaranteed.
