Mickey Factz & Nottz – I’m Good
For starters, let’s go ahead and acknowledge the fact that this beat is too nice. Mark Williams who is more well known as Mickey Factz, creates a chilled out track that’s tough to resist bobbing your head to. Though I haven’t made it to the whole album, if this is your vibe and style of rap, I suggest you check out his full length albumThe Achievement: Circa ’82.
Amir Obe – No Peace
Detroit born and now Brooklyn residing, Amir Obe gives off a huge OVO sound for me. Seeing as he’s worked with newer artist from OVO Sound, like STWO, it would make sense where he pulls inspiration from. I love the beat break down in this song. The switch up at :51 when we get a few more drum fills and percussion is addicting.
Noah Cyrus – Make Me (Cry) ft. Labrinth
Some duet action to kick off your Wednesday morning. Noah Cyrus has some powerful vocals. I can’t leave Labrinth out of the equation either. Listen to the density in this song. A lot of unusual sounds blended together. I believe it’s the help reinforce the emotion in the song writing, seeing as it is very heartfelt and personal.
