I AM TRIGGERED. What in the Sam Hill is this insulting display of content that I’ve just watched? You know that relatively retired-ass headline that exaggerates how Millennials are killing everything from board games to TGI Friday’s? Well, I think we’ve found the new heavy weight champ here: “Millennial’s” are killing social media.
*Clears throat* Excuse me, this is 2018 and we can’t make sweeping generalizations. “Millennial’s” that participate in these new viral wack job videos where they try shit like Deer Park water and act dumbfounded when they try it, are killing social media.
Seriously. Get this clickbait nonsense off my timeline. Chick-Fil-A is a saint. How dare these paid actors and actresses pretend to not like one of the greatest fast food establishments known to this side of the Mississippi. Cafeteria food!? Thems is fighting words, brother.
My buddy shared this the other day on his timeline and I was furious. This is the type of content that these media companies are resorting to and I think it is lazy as hell. Simply put, they took a widely popular and successful fast food chain, figured they could hire some yuppie “Millennials” to level it down and then boom, commence the triggered, real Millennial generation. I’ll give them one thing, it worked, BUT NOT BECAUSE IT WAS CREATIVE.
Remember my earlier comment about sweeping generalizations? Well I truly hope people who don’t get out of the house much don’t think that this is the majority view for all Millennials. Because its not and if you think so, you will be an outcast in the generation my friend. One of very few.
P.S. Don’t worry S. Truett Cathy, I got your back dawg.
