I am back again for another weekend of football picks that hopefully help make some people a few extra bucks. A solid week last week as the picks go a combined 13-6 overall. Last week we had a win on the biggest game of the NCAA season so far as LSU was no match for Alabama. Also gave out a few money line leans as West Virginia took down Texas and the Titans came into Dallas and upset the Cowboys. Opportunities all over the board to make money last weekend.
Be sure to follow along on twitter (@alex_fisher11) where I give out even more picks. NCAAB is off to a hot start going 8-3 in 2 days of action.
Let’s get right into this weekends picks, including a pick on tonight’s TNF game.
NCAA Week 10
Fresno State v. Boise State Friday 10:15 pm: Boise +3
A nice game here late on Friday night. If you are out on the town try and catch some of this game. Fresno comes in ranked, making Boise a home dog for the first time since 2001. Boise is 5-0 SU in the last five at home against Fresno. They play well on the blue field, no difference this Friday night. Boise covers and the money line worth a look here if you want some extra value.
TCU v. West Virginia Saturday 12pm: WVU -12 and Over 56
Huge win for WVU last week, I see them keeping it rolling into this weekend and blowing out a down TCU team. I also really like this over here. I could see WVU scoring in the 40s, a few added scores from TCU and it hits.
UNC v. Duke Saturday 12:20 pm: UNC +10
Big rivalry game here, not as big as when these two meet on the hardwood but it’s still something. Less than 50% of the bets on UNC but around 70% of the money on the Heels. I like taking the points here in this rivalry game.
Michigan v. Rutgers Saturday 3:30 pm: Over 48
If you think this number seems low, your right. Michigan has arguably the best defense in the country. While at the same time Rutgers has less than stellar offense. I am taking the over here in hopes of Michigan hitting the total by themselves. Maybe Harbaugh is keeps adding points to show the country why Michigan should be a playoff team.
Miss. State v. Alabama Saturday 3:30 pm: Alabama -24.5
I have said this for I don’t know how many weeks now, why is anyone betting against Alabama? They are clearly the best and most talented team in the nation. Bama in a blowout.
Other NCAA Picks:
Illinois v. Nebraska: Illinois +17
Appalachian v. Texas State: App -21
Clemson v. Boston College: BC +20.5
Washington St. v. Colorado: Over 60
Florida State v. Notre Dame: Over 53
USC v. Florida: Florida -6
NFL Week 9 Best Bets
Panthers v. Steelers Thursday Night Football: Panthers +3.5
I went back and forth on this game several times. Both teams have turned the corner and are looking great. I think Thursday night games are odd, I feel like we either see blowouts or low scoring tight games. Ultimately I lean Panthers due to the short week and because of that half point. I could see this one coming down to a field goal.
Falcons v. Browns 1pm: Falcons -6
This Falcons team may be figuring some things out after last weeks performance against Washington. This week they have the privilege of playing the Browns. Once again we fade the Browns. Falcons win by double digits.
Jaguars v. Colts 1pm: Jaguars +3
This division is a mess and no one has any idea who will win week to week. I hate to say it, but I am back on Blake Bortles.
Chargers v. Raiders 4:05pm: Raiders +10
The Chargers are arguably the third best AFC team behind the Patriots and Chiefs but I like the Raiders and the points at home this Sunday. Low percentage of tickets on the Raiders but over half the money is with Oakland. I am following the big money and going Raiders and the points.
Seahawks v. Rams 4:25 pm: Seahawks +10
We usually seem to see a good game between these two teams. I feel like 10 is a lot, plus this Seahawks team is fighting for their season right now. I’m backing Russell Wilson.
Washington v. Buccaneers 1pm: Under 51
It seems like any week Fitzpatrick could throw for either 6 TDs or 6 INTs. You never know with him. I am still not buying the Fitzmagic stock. Also not expecting Alex Smith to light the scoreboard up. Take the under.
Saints v. Bengals – Bengals +6
Cardinals v. Chiefs – Over 49.5
Bills v. Jets – Bills +7
Cowboys v. Eagles – Eagles -7
