Man, this football season has flown by right? With picks throughout the season we are still hanging around the 57% mark. 56.7 to be exact with a 93-67-4 record against the spread. Last appearance on here the NCAA picks were hot going 9-2, unfortunately that did not carry over into the NFL games. This is a great week of college football as conference championships get played with about 6 teams in contention for a playoff spot. Something special this week, I want to pick all of the conference championship games which kick off tonight with the MAC and PAC-12 title games. There are also some other games happening out there so maybe a few picks from those games too.
MAC Title Game
NIU v. Buffalo Friday 7pm: NIU +3.5
Buffalo may have the better team in this specific game, but NIU has owned the Bulls in recent history. Winning 10 out of their last 10 games against Buffalo. Including some huge wins. At the beginning of the season, NIU opened as the favorite to win the MAC, they might not win but this game should stay close. Huskies cover.
PAC-12 Title Game
Utah v. Washington 8pm: Utah +6
This is one of the more difficult games to look at this weekend in my opinion. The east coast bias has prevented us from seeing a lot of PAC-12 football this year. These two played earlier in the year with Washington winning 21-7. Washington has one of the best defenses in the country but they have not really blown anyone out this year. I like the Utah offense and special teams to keep them in this one.
Big-12 Title Game
Texas v. Oklahoma 12pm: Oklahoma -8 and Over 78
I think Oklahoma comes into this game with the revenge factor on their side. Also the fact that they are playing for a possible playoff berth propels them to a win, and cover in this game. Also this Sooner team is strictly just trying to outscore everyone because their defense can not stop anything, so take the over.
Sun Belt Title Game
Louisiana Lafayette v. App. State 12pm: Appalachian -16.5
App has treated us pretty well all year when we picked them ATS. I think the home field advantage in Boone will play a huge factor, especially with the city hosting a conference championship game. I think the Mountaineers when easily in this one.
Other Conference Title Games:
C-USA Title Game
UAB v. MTSU 1:30pm: MTSU -1.5
American Conference Title Game
Memphis v. UCF 3:30 pm: Memphis +3 and Over 64
SEC Title Game
Georgia v. Alabama 4pm: Alabama -14
Mountain West Title Game
Fresno v. Boise St. 7:45 pm: Boise -3
ACC Title Game
Pitt v. Clemson 8pm: Pitt +28 and Over 53
Big-10 Title Game
Northwestern v. Ohio State 8pm: Ohio State -15
Other NCAA Bets:
ECU v. NC State 12pm: Over 60
Marshall v. Va. Tech 12pm – Va Tech -3.5
NFL Week 13 Best Bets
Browns v. Texans 1pm: Browns +6
Man, rare day that I like to bet on the Browns. They have one two in a row and grabbed their first road win in while last week. The Texans have won eight in a row and this bet is me thinking they have to slip up at some point. Browns at least keep it tight.
Colts v. Jags 1pm: Colts -5
Andrew Luck seems unstoppable right now. He is slightly better than Josh Allen, who took down the Jags last week. Indy covers on the road.
Bears v. Giants 1pm: Giants +4
No Trubisky again this week, but that did not seem to hinder the Bears too much on Thanksgiving as they defeated the Lions on the road. I like the Giants being at home to stay in this one. Also looks like sharp money on the Giants, going to follow the cash. Giants to cover.
49ers v. Seahawks 4:25 pm: Seahawks -10
Seattle has come to life a bit here, just at the right time for a playoff push. I think they keep it rolling and take care of the Niners here, a team with nothing to play for.
More NFL Best Bets
Bills v. Dolphins: Bills +3.5
Jets v. Titans: Titans -8
Vikings v. Patriots: Over 49.5
Broncos v. Bengals: Over 45
Chargers v. Steelers: Steelers -3.5
