Pittsburgh Born Brothers Debut Their First Single
For those who are fans of the old and new school style of R&B, look no more because The Keymakers are just that. The Keymakers are Pittsburgh born brothers, Rome Alexander and Rederic, who are now positioned in Boston.
Having previously worked with Canadian artist Kristina Maria and legendary manager Vito Luprano, the two have finally released their debut single “Good For You.” As mentioned, the single mixes old and new school R&B, with a catchy electronic chorus drop that gets better each listen.
In regards to more new music in the works, Rederic mentions, “We’ve got so much music in our heads that we want to get out to the masses. We’ve honed a unique sound, and we’ll be experimenting with a bunch of different styles and genres that I think will surprise a lot of people.” The track’s message reinforces that we are all human, and to understand that we do make mistakes.
“We all mess up sometimes, and neglect the people we care about. No one’s perfect. But this song is about owning those mistakes, the constant effort to be better, and the person that makes that process worth it.” You can listen to The Keymakers debut single below.
