Sara Diamond returns with another single titled “Foreword”. The Canadian follows up off of her last single “Fool” with a deep R&B cut that is one of Diamond’s most straight forward songs she’s created to date. Produced by Brodi Gillman, “Foreword” is laced with intricate percussion and warm base. Her vocals on this match perfectly with the overall tone and vibe.
In regards to the song, Diamond says she wrote the song as it was happening.
“Bumped into my ex at a gas station, one year after us breaking up. The overarching message is about overcoming obstacles that once seemed so mighty, yet now pale in comparison to the lessons learned through the struggle.”
“Foreword” comes off of a two track EP that was created during a transitional time in Diamond’s life.
