This Article Contains "Alternative Facts" And It Might Make You Feel Demoralized

Let me start off by saying I am not a journalist. These articles are my opinions, my commentary, and those thoughts belong to me (and I like to share them with you!).
Let’s chit-chat about the war being waged on Journalists and the media. Never has it been more important for the media to hold themselves to a new standard. And also the blatant disregard for the truth and factual based governing being displayed by this administration.
Sunday, Kellyanne Conway (Trumps Campaign manager and current White House Counselor) said that their administration was presenting "alternative facts." I am sorry… what?
Still not over that. Let it sink in; really mull it over. Alternative facts. 2017 is a more bizarre universe than 2016 was, and it is January 24th. It has been 48 hours and I have watched the videos of her saying it over and over, it’s almost as if she is gagging on her own bullshit.
Kellyanne, what is wrong with you? There are facts and there are lies, there is not an in between. I don’t get pulled over by a cop telling me I was going 50 in a 35 and tell him it is an alternative fact. How in the world is this woman (who works for the White House and is a representative of my tax dollars) making a salary paid for by the people and allowed to blatantly and openly lie?
Journalists, humans and the internet between bewilderment and awe, took this one and ran with it. My personal favorite was Jake Tapper telling us he was Wolf Blizter – watchhere.
That wasn’t even the worst thing that happened when it came to covering this Election this weekend. Saturday, we watched our new Press Secretary come out to the podium and berate the journalists, take no questions, and blantantly lie about the crowd size at inauguration. The internet (specifically Twitter) really took Sean Spicer and jazzed it up.
Now, this solidifies the theory that size really does matter, amiright? It is also almost laughable that our President made his first official stop at the CIA and rambled about the crowd size, while standing in front of the memorial wall but didn’t acknowledge the 171 fallen CIA officers. Oh, and he brought spectators with him that filled the rows and provided the laugh track. Laughable might be the wrong word, this is truly the work of a sociopath.
Two days later it was time for Spicer to redeem himself, and despite critique, he didn’t call on the first row (Associated Press, Reuters, CNN, CBS) first, I think he handled himself and took questions really well. It was just this one answer that got me….
You are being demoralized, Sean Spicer? It is demoralizing to have the media constantly report the negative? It hurts the leader of the free world’s feelings to see reports of TRUTHS and FACTS about how people feel?
Take away your bosses twitter page, where for weeks he routinely tweeted about the "trustworthiness" of the Intelligence community – comparing them to Nazi Germany. Or when he tweeted about how the information was "fake news" multiple times. Or when he claimed that millions of illegal people voted and that is why he lost the popular vote without any evidence or claim. New flash to you President Trump, you lost the popular vote because most people understand its not good to have an insane person in the White House. You won the election because the DNC put forth a candidate that couldn’t beat even you, and that is a damn shame.
Why in the world are we still talking about this administration in terms of its campaign? Do we need a person obsessed with their popular vote lose & electoral college win? I might not like it, but he won. The man currently lives in the White House! He is frustrated with the "narrative" that he won’t succeed – prove us all wrong. Why is our White House Press Secretary bringing up campaign stops in Michigan? How frustrated does the leader of the free world feel? Go do something that will make the 2/3rd’s of the country who disapprove of you change their minds.
Is he as frustrated as the literal millions of women who marched on Saturday? Or the Native Americans that are now having to protect their land again? Or those of us that understand science and the ramifications of the Pipelines? Or the EPA agency that is no longer allowed to inform the public?
Why do people doubt him, and why is this "demoralizing narrative" being portrayed? Because the man is a bomb waiting to happen (literally he has the nuclear codes). He attacked a union leader after being elected for correcting him on the number of jobs he saved at Carrier Industires. He continually perpetuates lies. He seems to lack even a common understanding of governing, at all, let alone this country. He never released his tax returns and we have no idea who he owes money too. Do I need to keep going?
A constant theme about him not being able to do it? Prove the world wrong. We are not dumb, we have the internet, and we will hold you accountable to EVERY SINGLE THING YOU DO, Mr. President.
Just be forewarned, Pussy Grabs Back, Black Lives Matter, nasty women are coming for you, and immigrants are the backbone of this country. We aren’t going away.
