NPR’s Tiny Desk series might be the best thing (musically) you can find on the internet. For those who are unfamiliar, NPR hosts the newest upcoming talent around the world and sets up a mini concert for the employees that work in the music division of the company (those lucky son’s of bitches). For this edition, they’ve recruited UK’s upcoming lyrical talent, Little Simz. I will go ahead and say that I’ve seen quite a few of these Tiny Desk concerts (and they are fucking phenomenal) but this one is up there in my top five. The British rapper is only 23-years old and is gaining tremendous steam over seas. It is only a matter of time before the lyricist starts making traction in the US. If watching the whole 11+ minutes of the Tiny Desk session is not your style (which I would confidently recommend you watch it in its entirety) you should skip to 8:07 seconds to watch an absolute jam session from the group.
